It's in the history books....

Our 20 year reunion went off without a hitch. We had a great time marching in the parade, playing at the park, touring the high school, and partying at the country club. 

Parade Line Up

Please join us in the International Days parade on Saturday morning. We're traveling with a fire truck (or two!) and we'll line up just before 10 am on 600 East, south of 300 South. 

Reunion Weekend: Final details

So many fun things to enjoy on Saturday, July 26th...

International Days Parade: Please join the Class of '94 in walking, scootering, or cartwheeling back in time to 1994. Line up at about 10  am near the start of the parade route at 6th East and south of 3rd South. We'll be traveling with a fire truck, so look for it lined up somewhere along the line. Wear blue and white: a Dino jersey, a choir dress, swim team sweatsuit, a graduation robe, a Carbon baseball hat, a cosmetology smock, a letterman's jacket, Dino gym shorts, a drill team headband, a pep club sweater, a yearbook T-shirt, a rodeo belt buckle, your NHS cords... whatever reminds you of your time at Carbon High. Dress up the whole family and sing the fight song with us as we march down Main Street toward the end of the parade route at 1st West.

International Days at Pioneer Park: Meet up with other alumni and their families in or near Pioneer Park at 1pm. We'll have some refreshments and enjoy all the activity in the park.

Tour Carbon High School: At 3pm, meet at the front doors of the high school for a little tour around the campus. You can show your family and guests what you remember from 20 years ago and see what's changed in a couple of decades.

Alumni dinner at Carbon Country Club: 6 pm social hour, 7 pm dinner. Registered alumni and guests only.

Lodging and Childcare

We've got a couple of deals to make your reunion experience easier. You can reserve a room at Holiday Inn in Price for $79 per night if you call the front desk at 435-637-8880 and ask for the Class of '94 20-Year Reunion discount. See you at the pool!

If you need child care during the alumni dinner at Carbon Country Club on July 26th, you're in luck, because Aunt Sharon's Daycare is on the job. Sharon is offering care in her Family Group Licensed facility in Helper for $3 per child per hour that evening. You can find all the details on the facility by going to Care About Childcare and searching for Aunt Sharon's Daycare. Make a reservation for the kiddos by calling Sharon at 435-299-0949, then be sure to make your reservation for dinner by clicking on the BUY NOW button in the right-hand column of our website.

Spring Break Discount

Update: We didn't increase the price of the alumni dinner so you can register now for the party of the decade for the low price of $53 per person.

Register for the Reunion!

The International Days celebration is taking place in Price on July 24-26. There will be lots of exciting activities: a parade, fireworks, movies in the park, wave pool day, golf tournament, etc. More details to come on how the Class of '94 will participate.

Alumni and guests are invited to a nice dinner and an exciting band at Carbon Country Club on Saturday, July 26th. Social Hour will begin at 6:00pm with dinner to follow at 7:00pm. The cost is $50 per person if you register by April 1, or $60 per person after April 1st.

Update: Registration for the reunion is closed. If you didn't register for the dinner, we're so sorry we'll miss you, but we hope you'll still join us for the parade on Saturday morning, we'd love to see you at Pioneer Park at 1 pm to meet up with other alumni families.

There's a new page called "Who's Found" on our blog. It lists the alumni who have expressed an interest in attending our 20 year reunion on July 26, 2014. It's so easy to join in all the fun! Just send a note with your current email address to carbonhigh94@hotmail.com.  You'll be sure to get all the updates on the event and an invitation. Remind all your friends to write to us too so we won't miss any classmates!

Have you written to us yet?

It's time for us to come up with a budget, reserve a venue, choose a band (maybe!), and get our 20-year reunion on the books. We need to have a general idea of how many people are interested in attending in order to plan a fun event that fits our group perfectly. If YOU are interested in coming to the party on July 26, 2014, and you haven't done so yet, please send an email today to carbonhigh94@hotmail.com. We just need your name and email address so we can send you all the details when we've got it worked out. If you've already written to us there, we're counting you as a potential attendee so you don't need to write again (unless you want to volunteer to help pull off the event!), but we do want you to contact your friends with this message so we don't miss anybody.
